ACCELERATED PERFORMANCE EVERY TIME
There is only one word to think of when contemplating brake systems - SAFETY. Like all fluid systems, the brake fluid must act as an effective hydraulic fluid, protect against corrosion, maintain fluidity under low-temperatures and prevent boiling at high temperatures. As well, brake fluid is naturally hygroscopic (absorbs water), which can be dangerous in a brake system since water in the fluid can boil at the caliper and result in a loss of braking force. Given the inherent need for safety, regular brake fluid maintenance is essential, starting with a high-quality DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid, as well as maintenance of other components such as brake pads and drums.
